Set New Habits that lower stressful situation

Get Into Fitness Mode to lower stress

  1. Exercise at least three times a week
  2. Ditch the grueling workouts, and try and take it down a notch if you are feeling stressed
  3. Go for a walk after a meal – it can help to regulate insulin production
  4. Make exercise a social occasion, then you won’t dread it as much

Improve Your Sleep Quality to help you manage stress

  1. Make sure you get enough sleep every night
  2. Cut stimulation, – switch your screens off an hour before your bedtime and try reading to help you relax
  3. Avoid caffeine after 3pm to ensure a good night’s sleep

Rearrange Your Work Day to allow time to destress

  1. Get up five or ten minutes earlier each day so you don’t find yourself rushing
  2. Set aside time for dealing with emails so they don’t become a distraction
  3. Make a ‘To Do’ list – it will help you keep focused and feeling good every time you complete something from the list
  4. Spend a few minutes at the end of the day planning and preparing for the following day
  5. Take time out to slow down – grab a drink, go for a walk and take ten minutes out during the day to slow down.
